Prior to joining Mediclinic, Dr. Anil was Chair, Nephrology Division at Al Zahra Pvt. Hospital, Dubai for six years. He has over three decades of extensive clinical experience in Clinical Nephrology, Dialysis and kollow-up of kidney transplant cases. He has also successfully managed very high risk composite cases in nephrology such as pregnancy complicated with an array of kidney diseases including SLE. He also worked for nearly nine years in Abu Dhabi, in various reputed SEHA hospitals including Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Mafraq Hospital, both equipped with the largest and most modern hemodialysis centres in the country affiliated to Nephrology divisions. Dr. Anil is a Google Scholar with over 75 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed indexed journals to his credit. His principal research interests are Hepatitis C, Metabolic Syndrome and Vascular Access-Related infections among dialysis patients. He carries out almost all procedures related to his speciality including vascular access and kidney biopsies. He is also a prolific author, expert peer reviewer and member of the editorial board of several international and regional Nephrology journals including Kidney International, AJKD, NDT and Saudi Journal of Kidney Diseases and Transplantation (SJKDT). Above all, he has a unique, innovative and patient focused approach in dealing with their kidney related problems
