Dr. Baruni graduated with Honors MBBCh from the University of Tripoli. He then trained in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto. He holds a Clinical Fellowship in Chronic Pain Management from the University of Toronto and is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of PM&R, University of British Columbia, Canada. Medical Director, G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Center, University of British Columbia.
He established and has chaired the first Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at SEHA / SKMC for over 10 years. He also chaired the DOH Special Committee on Disability Assessment and Occupational Health for a two-year term.
