Ioannis graduated in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, from the University of Thesally, Greece. In 2013 he completed a MSc in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at Cardiff University in the UK. He then joined Chelsea Football Club, where he worked for nearly 6 years. Then he moved to Dubai in 2019 and he has been working in a private clinics as an MSK and Sports Physiotherapist. Ioannis has also experience working as a sports physiotherapist, treating elite level athletes, in major sporting events such as the London 2012, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Baku 2015 European Games, Ashgabat 2017 Asian Games and London 2017 World Athletics Championships. He specialises in manual therapy, rehabilitation, pre and post-operative treatment and exercise therapy. Areas of expertise in Ioannis’ clinical practice are MSK and sports injuries, Lower limb injuries, neck and back pain, paediatric MSK injuries, hand therapy.
