Dr Samy practises two specialities in Dentistry, namely Oral Surgery and Periodontology. He was born and grew up in UK, and undertook all his undergraduate and postgraduate training in London which included a Diploma in Dental Sedation in addition to a number of Masters degrees. This makes him one of only three dentists in the UAE that are university qualified in dental sedation, a medical technique he uses to treat anxious patients and those who prefer to be unaware of their surgical procedure. Furthermore, Dr Samy has qualified with a Masters of Law from Cardiff Law School and therefore holds patient rights and understanding central to the care he provides his patients. Dr Samy has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in London for many years, and most recently as an Assistant Professor in Dubai. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he is also an examiner for the Membership examinations. As a very experienced clinician, Dr Samy works between Dubai and UK, where he has founded his own very successful oral surgery company, managing in excess of 1000 patients a month through government commissioned NHS contracts.
